A draft is the beginning of the review.
Use this checklist to organize your review before copying AI-assisted text into your documentation.
Check the selected diagnoses
Confirm that each selected diagnosis and code belongs in the note. Similar labels can describe different conditions. Resolve any uncertainty using the appropriate clinical and coding references.
Separate known facts from generated wording
Read every statement. Remove or correct patient details, symptoms, findings, medications and plans that are not supported by the encounter. Generated text should never stand in for information you have not established.
Review reused text
A saved note for an individual code can help you resume your work, but its previous wording may not fit a new encounter. Recheck every detail before reuse.
Review dictation and formatting
Listen for meaning as you read the transcript. Check names, numbers, negation and punctuation. Make sure headings and sections communicate what you intend.
Make the final decision
Use your professional judgment to determine whether the note is appropriate and complete for its purpose. IntelliNotes does not guarantee clinical accuracy, coding compliance or reimbursement.
